This project uses stylized lighting and a short cinematic sequence to tell a simple environmental story set in a cabin, moving through three phases: evening, night, and sunrise. Using the Ultra Dynamic Sky plugin, I controlled the sun, moon, and atmospheric conditions to create smooth transitions and distinct moods for each phase. I pushed lighting beyond realism by exaggerating scale, color, and contrast, while using fog and post-processing to add depth and an 80s film aesthetic. The cinematic reinforces these changes through camera movement, sound design, and pacing, gradually building tension during the night before releasing it with a warm, calm sunrise.Â
